Key Knife developed Taper Tip, the UNconventional knife, for mills that prefer to use traditional knife solutions that can be reground several times. Key Knife’s taper tip solution performs the same as conventional knives, but mills benefit from lower operating costs. Key Knife’s UNconventional knife utilizes a holder and a replaceable tip that can be ground the same number of times as a conventional knife. Now mills only pay for the part of the knife that actually gets used.

Manufactured from A8 modified tool steel (D2 also available). Designed to match same number of grinds as conventional solution being replaced.
